Custom and Generic Patterns |

Personality Plus displays 30 Generic Position Patterns giving your company a quick "snapshot" of how an individual compares to those positions. Although helpful, Generic Patterns are really only informational. Your company needs to develop your own custom Patterns because your company is uniquely different. Just because someone has successfully sold copy machines does not mean they can go to another company, fit in and be equally as successful. The culture of a company (it's personality) is unique and reflects management's attitude toward the working world. Ideally, your company should create an historical Pattern or pattern of success for each position in which you desire to use Personality Plus as part of your hiring decision. API refers to these as Custom Patterns. Custom Patterns allow you to: 1) Make Personality Plus job related 2) Compare applicant's results to employee's results to determine a "fit". 3) Pinpoint employee "friction" and correct before problems arise. 4) Conduct effective training programs targeted to how each employee learns best. 5) Design incentives based on each employee's innate motivating factors. The Hiring Suite software can look at Personality Plus results and automatically create Patterns for each position at the "click of a button". |
